By engaging households and classrooms in high-impact challenges, Live Net Zero aims to foster awareness, collaboration, and real-world action, helping communities recognize their collective role in building a sustainable future and inspiring lasting change. Live Net Zero focuses on practical actions like reducing emissions, using resources more efficiently, cutting waste, and making more mindful, sustainable choices.
By participating in Live Net Zero, you’re helping us understand what actions Canadians are taking, what inspires people to do more, and where households are getting stuck and need support. We bring these insights to policymakers, businesses, communities and the media so they can take action to make sustainable living easier over time – for everyone.

We partner across sectors to transform how people live their lives – what they need and what they consume and produce, and what they aspire to. Our vision is a world where everyone is able to live thriving, healthy lives within the ecological means of our one Earth. We build the sustainable living field, connect research and practice, equip key actors with strategies and tools, and craft narratives and innovative programs that inspire change at scale.
