When an actor-turned-astronaught goes spacewalking in a movie, it’s often to the tune of dramatic will-they-or-won’t-they-die music. Now, a livestreamed video feed from the International Space Station is offering people the opportunity to see the real thing in action.

NASA’s Shane Kimbrough and Thomas Pesquet of the European Space Agency floated from the ISS at around 6:30 a.m. EST on Jan. 13. Their mission: complete power upgrades to the station’s power system. It is Pesquet’s first time spacewalking.

“Working on the right side truss of the space station, the crew members will install adapter plates and hook up electrical connections for six new lithium-ion batteries that were delivered to the station in December,” NASA explains on its website.

It is the second spacewalk this month to wrap up a power upgrade, and the 197th spacewalk in support of space station assembly and maintenance.

The spacewalk is expected to last about 6.5 hours. Watch below.
