Sara Cassidy

Sara Cassidy’s writing has won a BC Book Prize, a National Magazine Award (Gold), and the Atlantic Writing Prize.  Her books for young readers include finalists for the Governor General’s Literary Award, TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award, and City of Victoria Children’s Book Prize, and have appeared on Smithsonian, New York Public Library, and Kirkus best-of-year lists. Sara lives in sxʷeŋ’xʷəŋ taŋ’exw (James Bay, Victoria), and spends part of the year in La Roche Vineuse, France.
