Nick Dauk is a freelance travel writer whose work has appeared in National Geographic, Afar, The National Post, InsideHook, and Business Insider. His travels have taken him around the globe to report on the mountain gorillas of Uganda, the blue-footed boobies of Ecuador’s “Poor Man’s Galapagos”, and the uncanny way the mummy of Ramesses I made its way from Ancient Egypt to Niagara Falls. When he’s not chasing stories between the Amazon and the Arctic, he’s chasing his three children around the museums and playgrounds of Central Florida.
