Nadine Robinson
Dr. Nadine Robinson is happiest trying a new sport, learning a new skill, encountering wildlife or scaring herself just enough for a great story. Her goal? To spark curiosity, challenge assumptions and inspire others to keep exploring, regardless of age. Fit, over 50 and having explored more than 74 countries, she’s also an award-winning travel writer and photographer, bestselling non-fiction author and keynote speaker. Nadine traded a 15-year academic career for full-time travel writing and photography in 2025. Her work has appeared in Canadian Geographic, explore, Porter Airlines, TravelLife, Traverse (Australia), Dreamscapes, Paddling, Scuba Diving Magazine, CAA/AMA Magazine and more. Never shy of something to say, she has written an opinion and travel column for Postmedia for almost 20 years. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and an International MBA, and is an accredited member of the Canadian Freelance Guild and the Travel Media Association of Canada. Apparently, all those years of education couldn’t teach her to sit still. Her proudest achievement is raising two amazing humans, now adults requiring considerably less supervision, leaving Nadine more freedom to get herself into a spot of trouble, preferably somewhere with a great view.
