Alex Trebek was a great friend to the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and Canadian Geographic during his life.

From hosting the first Canadian Geographic Challenge in the 1990s, supporting the opening of Canada’s Centre for Geography and Exploration, to becoming the Honorary President of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society, Trebek was a passionate supporter of geography and education in Canada.

We’ve pulled a selection of photos from our archives to showcase Trebek’s commitment to the mission of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
