Greenland & Wild Labrador: A Torngat Mountains Adventure
September 27 – October 11, 2026
On the Canadian mainland, the Torngats rise as the highest peaks east of the Rockies, steep slopes surging from deep blue fjords where whales cruise and polar bears patrol. Ancient rock and open silence invite stillness and sharper attention. At the heart of the journey is Torngat Mountains National Park, shaped by Inuit leadership and knowledge, explored by foot and Zodiac at the land’s pace. Newfoundland’s music and sense of belonging, Inuit welcome in Nunatsiavut communities, and Nuuk’s Kalaallit culture and contemporary life add vivid counterpoints.

Jen is an adventurous soul who loves to learn through experiences and is passionate about sharing her love of nature through the art of photography.
Growing up in a military family, Jen is used to being on the move. She spent a lot of her younger years travelling with her family across Europe and North America. After attending Carleton University and graduating with a degree in sociology, she decided to stay in Ottawa and begin her career there.
Jen fills her days as a business development specialist in the insurance industry and her nights running a successful photography business. Her passion for photography started on board the Ocean Endeavour when she completed the Newfoundland Circumnavigation expedition in 2016.
At home, she gained experience through sport and concert photography and now is one of the main photographers for the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. She has photographed everything from professional and national sports teams to big acts like Sarah McLachlan, Alessia Cara, and international dance companies. She is also a published wildlife photographer with her images featured in both Canadian Geographic and Cottage Life magazines. Jen is a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
From her first expedition in 2016, Jen fell in love with expedition travel and looks forward to returning each year to meet new people and share new experiences with everyone on board!
