The Commuting Challenge and Our Community

The Waddell-Shankland Household

By The Waddell-Shankland Household

We really loved the commuting challenge and thinking about how, as a car-free family, we can do even more to decarbonise and improve our transportation choices, but also engage more with our communities and get everyone involved.

For those interested in more details about the feedback from the team that joined us in embracing active transit over the 2 weeks, we also wanted to share some of the outcomes and findings.  To that end, we made up this one-pager (and will be making a more detailed report to share with the City and other advocates in Windsor).

Finally, we had to share the feedback from one of the folks who joined us, Mel, who is not only a wonderful educator to our children, but totally blew us away by clocking in well over 400km over the 10 days.  Brilliant!

And that’s a wrap on the commuting challenge :).   Thanks so much to all the wonderful Windsorites who joined and supported us – onwards together, to a healthy, beautiful and energised Windsor!
