As we go to Net Zero individually and as a country, the big tasks will be to move to renewable energy, especially in transportation and home heating, the two biggest sources of Canadian emissions.

However, even when we have greener electricity, no system is free of carbon or other environmental impacts, when we take into account production/manufacturing, distribution, and end-of-live for the systems/materials that get us power.

So! It is essential then to also think about efficiency, and how we can find ways to reduce the power we consume throughout the day.

We’ve been learning about so many small and easy ways to reduce electricity usage as part of the Net Zero challenge. To share our findings, we made a video with 20 quick tips in under 2 min that we hope can inspire you and help you cut down in easy ways!
