Kevin Fraser

Dr. Kevin Fraser is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba where he leads the Avian Behaviour and Conservation Laboratory. His research focuses on the migration ecology of long-distance migratory birds. By using small tracking devices that birds carry during migration, his lab investigates how birds are able to respond to new conditions with climate change through shifts in their migration behaviour. He also studies the impacts of light pollution on migration. His studies have included work with purple martin, Canada warbler, American robin, and eastern whip-poor-will.
