Drew Stewart

Drew is a Vancouver-based journalist who began his academic career in criminology before being pulled into journalism by his love of nature and telling stories to invoke change. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in criminology from Simon Fraser University, Drew travelled around Europe, where he spent his time improving his photography skills and exploring global media. Upon returning to Canada, Drew was accepted to the Master of Journalism program at the University of British Columbia, where he is currently studying. When he isn’t writing, Drew can be found hiking, swimming, and avoiding geese to the best of his ability.
