Dani Nowosad

Dani Nowosad (she/her) is a Red River Metis-settler cousin, niece, granddaughter, daughter, wife, artist, crafter, photographer, and scientist born and raised on Treaty 1 territory in Manitoba. She is currently working on a PhD in Integrative Biology at the University of Guelph and researches freshwater biodiversity on Inuit Nunangat, the Inuit Homelands. She works closely with the Centre for Biodiversity Genomics on the Arctic BIOSCAN project.
