Canadians know winter, and there’s nothing worse than finding yourself in the midst of the worst the season has to offer while kitted out in gear made by someone who doesn’t. Canadian brands like Canada Goose, Baffin and Arcteryx are names that we’ve come to trust, but sometimes we forget that we aren’t the only ones who face harsh temperatures and conditions, or the only ones who make the gear to match. We’ve long known that Norway’s Helly Hansen makes some fantastic winter gear, but recently found a few other gear makers from outside our borders whose designs we’ve absolutely fallen in love with and we’re sure will impress you too.

From Sweden: The Fjallraven Kyla Parka
Sweden’s Fjallraven is a name that’s started to stand out to us for its high quality parkas built to withstand the worst winter weather can offer. The Kyla parka has kept us as warm as any Canada Goose, but helped us stand out from the Goose-wearing masses.
