Imagine being a Franklin-phile for 30 years and missing out on finding graves from the Franklin Expedition by only one week.

That’s what happened to Royal Canadian Geographical Society expedition leader and lecturer George Hobson back in 2000. He had been on a vessel the week before it found graves on Gjoa Haven, Nunavut.
