Get ready to fall in love with polar bears (if you weren’t already). In these two videos, the Assiniboine Park Zoo shares scenes from their state-of-the-art International Polar Bear Conservation Centre. In the video above, which was published in December 2014, a polar bear named Hudson took his first swim in the pool over the underwater viewing tunnels known as Sea Ice Passage. It offers an interesting, rare glimpse into how a polar bear moves underwater.

The second video is from earlier last year, when the Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship identified two orphaned polar bear cubs. According to the video’s description, the Stewardship personnel watched and monitored the cubs for 48 hours and, finding no sign of their mother, brought them to the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre (IPBCC) at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. The resulting video, showing the cubs investigating a part of their new home will warm you heart.
