All the world might be a stage, but Newfoundland and Labrador arguably have some of the best. They might not be the biggest, but the theatres that are sprinkled across “the rock” are full of heart.
As it happens, 2015 marks 20 years of the acclaimed Gros Morne Theatre Festival. Based in the community of Cow Head, at the north boundary of the stunning Gros Morne National Park, this season’s festival will feature the return of the ever-popular dinner theatre production of S.S. Ethie by Shane Ellis Coates and Neddy Norris Night. There will also be a night of traditional music and stories; a world premier production of the Frances Cluett Letters (working title) and more. Festival runs from May to September.
